How To Organise Your Assignment

Indenting References in Microsoft Word

When organising your reference list in APA 7th style, the second and subsequent lines of each reference are indented by 1.27 cm (0.5 inches) - this is known as a hanging indent.

For example:

historiography: Herodotus’ Croesus Logos. Classical Philology, 101(1) 34-51.
