Light and Shadows - A Game

Have you ever tried to stay in a tree's shade for a while, but soon found yourself in the hot sun again? You need to find out about shadows!

In this primary science game you will investigate how a tree, you and things like umbrellas and lamp-posts make a shadow during a sunny day. Find out whether the shape and position of a shadow is related to the time of day and position of the Sun. Play a shadow-matching game to finish.

Light for Kids | Where does light come from?

In this video we learn all about Light. We learn where it comes from and identify a number of sources of light. We also learn how we can change light through reflection, refraction, or by blocking light all together. It is a great video that introduces the concept of light to kids.
