Raising Children Network provides some helpful tips and resources to help parents with their children's homework. 

ITC Thinkdrive

ITC Thinkdrive provides graphic organisers for note taking with a focus on the cognitive verbs used in most assignments (example: analysing, evaluating, comparing and contrasting, etc.). Definitions of cognitive verbs are provided as well as sentence starters, videos and examples of writing for tasks. This is an excellent tool that is very helpful in responding to effectively to task criteria.
