During art lessons with Mrs. Goodridge, all classes created fabulous artworks in response to a shortlisted book or theme.
Parents are welcome to drop into the library before or after school to appreciate these wonderful book week displays. The displays will remain in the Library until the end of this term.
In celebration of our Book Week theme - Reading is Magical - we're are having an exciting magical performance by our very own Magician, Mr. Jared Hibberd! Mr. Hibberd will be performing intriguing magical tricks during First Break! Don't miss out on this great experience!
If you enjoyed playing the Bowerbird Blues Seek & Find game last term, then you'll definitely enjoy this Magical Seek & Find game in both 1st and 2nd breaks for the whole of Book Week!
Step 1. Grab a checklist from Library Staff.
Step 2. Identify the items on the list. Can you match them with the pictures in the poster?
Step 3. Go hunting around the Library. Look on the shelves to find your items.
Step 4. Put a tick in the box next to the item you find.
Step 5. Give your checklist to Mrs. Peachey when you’ve found all the items.
Did you enjoy the Play Alice Through the Looking Glass from last term? Well, you're in for a treat with some of the main characters in the play coming in for some magical reading with junior students...wait for it...with their costumes on!! Don't miss this unique experience.

Reading is Magical - Join your classmates in creating fun book-week-themed inspired collage. Every time you open a book, you're transported into magical new worlds. Can you think of interesting, magical things that you find in books? This is just a fun, relaxed activity that will help you get into the spirit of Book Week. Choose your background - Underwater Rock Pool, Desert Landscape or Magical Open Book. You'll be provided with fun collage pieces to help you design a beautiful collage picture. Get creative!
